Chemtech Alloys Pvt Ltd & is a global leader in the processing of high strength and High tensile Plates abrasion resistant steel.
We offer one stop shopping for high strength and abrasion resistant steel from full plates as a raw material. High Strength Low Alloy or (HSLA) steel plates, provide greater environmental corrosion resistance and are stronger than convention carbon steel. HSLA is also very ductile, highly formable and easy to weld. HSLA steels are not typically made to meet a certain chemical composition, instead they are known to meet specific mechanical properties. The HSLA specification is intended primarily for use in structural members, where savings in weight and added durability are critical.
We have a large stock of high yield steel plates for engineering applications. The high yield plates are S690QL and S690QL1 to EN 10025-6 with additional stocks with yields at S890QL, S960QL and S1100QL.
These plates are typically used by crane manufacturers, in jackup rigs for the oil and gas industry and in a variety of structures where high yield steel is required for additional strength and/or to save weight.
High Yield Steel Plates Ex-Stock
We have one of the largest stocks of high yield plates in India with a particular focus on thicker plates
We are Stocking Following Origin (Make) Plates.

ASTM A588 steel plate is a corrosion-resistant steel high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) structural steel plate that is excellent for welding, riveting or bolting in construction applications, primarily welded bridges and buildings where savings in weight or added durability are important. When properly exposed to the atmosphere, A588 is suitable for many applications in the bare or unpainted condition.
A606 steel plate is desirable where savings in weight or added durability are important, with enhanced atmospheric corrosion resistance.
A606 is supplied in two types:
Type II contains 0.02% minimum copper based on cast or heat analysis (0.18% minimum copper for product check).
Type IV contains additional alloying elements and provides a level of corrosion resistance substantially better than that of carbon steels with or without copper addition. When properly exposed to the atmosphere, Type 4 steel can be used bare, or unpainted, for many applications.
